Paula Paula PaulaPaula Patton is an actress and producer who is best known for her leading roles in the action-spy film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the film drama Precious. She was born into a middle-class household in Los Angeles, she harboured many dreams in her early years. Her mom loved watching films and cultivated a passion for movies in her daughter as well. Paula participated in co-curricular classes at her school and enjoyed drama. Paula loved acting with friends and participated in school productions. After appearing in several high school productions at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School She decided to pursue acting her professional career. She was enrolled in at the prestigious University of Southern California's summer school, and she enjoyed tremendously. She was given a three month contract to produce documentaries for PBS. She started her career as a production assistant for TV after she had completed her three-month work. Then she began producing documentaries. Though she loved her job and her work, she wanted to be an actor. She got her first acting gig with a small role in the romantic comedy film Hitch, alongside Will Smith. Her roles have since been in a variety of popular films and television shows.
